Fees

In order to establish a relationship of trust, Mathieu CROIZET 's fees are set in full transparency with the client after acceptance of the estimate, in accordance with the ethical rules of the legal profession.

During the first meeting, and after a preliminary study of the case, Mathieu CROIZET will be able to propose several billing options to the client. Mathieu CROIZET will endeavour to offer the client the most advantageous form of fees.

In order to specify the terms and conditions for fixing the fees, a fee agreement will be signed between Mathieu CROIZET and the client.

The firm offers you 4 models of fees

1. Time-based fees

With this formula, the client pays the lawyer on an hourly basis, i.e. according to the time spent by the lawyer on the case and his hourly rate. If the client opts for this formula, Maître Mathieu CROIZET will establish with the client a number of forecasted hours for the treatment of his case. Of course, the time spent on a case depends on its complexity.

2. Flat rate fees

When this formula is selected, a global and fixed remuneration is paid for the whole procedure. This practice is particularly adapted to so-called "standard" cases, where Maître Mathieu CROIZET is able to estimate the time needed to handle the case accurately. For example, this type of fee is adapted to a divorce by mutual consent or between the incorporation of a company.

3. Fees based on results

Depending on the outcome of your case, an additional fee may be agreed upon.

The result-based fee is an additional remuneration to the following formulas:

  • Time-based fee
  • Fixed fee

This formula is calculated on the client's "gain" from the procedure. This cannot be the only method of remuneration.

4. Fees per subscription

This formula is chosen when the client has periodic or regular recourse to his lawyer for services.
